Communities in North
Carolina’s Northeast continually update water
and sewer infrastructure. North Carolina’s
Northeast and its communities have benefited
greatly from state wide bond referendums, the
Clean Water Management Trust Fund, the
NC Rural Economic Development Center, and
Federal programs like
USDA and
EDA that have expanded water and sewer
availability and capacity throughout the region.
The North Carolina
General Assembly recently appropriated over $100
million toward improving water and wastewater
systems in North Carolina to support community
and economic development. |
